How Rude.
What about little ole' me who wants them just as badly?

Style is Never Safe and Neither are my Opinions.

As the dolls strut their stuff, Marni became my fave from Milano. The accessories were statement pieces, and the shoes were magnificent as always. It’s just a perfect collection for winter. The colors made the collection. It was somber, yet cheerful.

Who would’ve thought anyone could be better dressed than Barbie?

I took the “liberty” (haha I’m so clever) to put together my fave shows so far from London Fall 2010.

Richard Nicoll knows what to do with Velvet. Alexander Wang should take a tip from him.

Julien Macdonald made a chunky knit look so feminine. I’m dying for that sweater.

It’s all about the minimal details in Marios Schwab’s collection. Beautifully crafted.

All in all, Fashion week has been kind of a drab. Of course there are things I want in my closet, but I don’t feel all tingly and giddy like usual. Most of the shows I was most excited to see left me disappointed (cough, cough, Vena Cava, Alexander Wang). We still have Milan and Paris to come so I’m crossing my body in hopes of something that will take my breath away.

I Love the Proenza girl. And of course Lazaro and Jack never fail to give their audience what they want. Fall 2010 did just that. Overall the collection was fun, the colors were great for fall and the silhouettes suited the season, but does the smell of surf SS10 lurk under anyone’s nose? Don’t get me wrong, I’d buy some of these investment pieces in a second, but I think they stayed in their successful comfort zone from last September. The shoes were hot despite the height liability. Spring 2010 was such an excitement that I expected something brand new for fall.

Much Love Boys, but I’m ready for LONDON FASHION WEEK.

The music, the candles, the black light, the Kirkwoods, and most importantly, the entire Rodarte collection was too exquisite for words. It had an angelic beauty, combined with their distressed signature. It was a fantasy filled with Pasadena brides and eerie Burtonesque elements.

You could call the Marc Jacobs collection a team effort, combined with Marc of course and Robert Duffy, President of Marc Jacobs. It was about the clothes and not the celebrities; something Jacobs had taken advantage of. Marc Jacobs is my favorite so far of the Fall 2010 season.
