The Clash Effect

I am not at all considered preppy, but this collection by Paul Smith was magnificent. I wouldn't call Paul Smith a conservative prep, more of a chic English sophisticate. The make-up, colors, and the fabulous styling really put together a terrific show. In one silhouette there could be 3 different patterns. It was brilliant and not easy. Mixing patterns can be a big failure when not put together correctly. Not only were the clothes great, but also the accessories made such a huge impact. I just might step into your store this spring Paul Smith, but sorry to say it probably looks a lot better on the runway.
